1st Annual Midget All Star Games a huge Success
The 1st annual midget All Star game was nothing but exciting for its players and fans. In Aurora, on Sunday Dec 18th, York Simcoe teams shared some of its '99 birth year players to collectively form teams to play the game they love. Every center had representation. Watching these players from different teams or "foes" come together and sit on the same bench was incredible. These young men, played the game the way it was intended, and mostly, they respected each other. First game was the "AA" group and then the "A/AE" combined group.
One can only hope, that from watching or experiencing an event such as this, that a new outlook of the game of hockey can be achieved. Respect all around. The pictures below says it all.
